How to create QR codes in bulk

  1. Prepare your listOne link or text per line. For custom file names, use a CSV with two columns: content and name.
  2. Paste it or upload the CSVTick "First row is a header" if your file has column titles, then pick the right columns.
  3. Design onceColors, dot style, logo and frame apply to every code. Check the preview of row 1.
  4. Generate and downloadClick "Generate ZIP". The ZIP also contains index.csv, which lists every file name next to its content.

What you can do with bulk QR codes

  • Product labels and packaging. One code per product page or SKU.
  • Restaurant tables. One code per table: yoursite.com/order?table=1, ?table=2…
  • Event tickets and badges. One unique link per attendee.
  • Inventory and asset tags. Encode serial numbers or asset IDs as plain text.
  • Real estate. One code per listing for signs and brochures.
  • Classrooms. One code per worksheet, video or student.

CSV format

The simplest CSV has one column of links. Add a second column to control the file names:

urlname
https://example.com/product/1red-shirt
https://example.com/product/2blue-shirt

We detect commas, semicolons and tabs automatically, and handle quoted values (including commas inside quotes) the way Excel and Google Sheets export them. File names are cleaned up so they work on every computer, and duplicates get a number added (red-shirt-2).

How fast is it?

Everything happens in your browser, so speed depends on your device. A typical laptop creates 1,000 PNG codes at 1000 px in around one minute; SVG is faster. A progress bar shows how far along it is, and you can cancel at any time. The limit is 5,000 codes per batch; split larger lists into several files.

Privacy for business data

Your list never leaves your computer. That matters when the codes contain customer-specific links, ticket IDs or internal asset numbers, which you shouldn't upload to a third-party service. Once the page has loaded you can even disconnect from the internet and keep generating.

Tips

  1. Test a few codes from the ZIP with your phone before printing them all.
  2. Use SVG for print shops; it keeps the files small and sharp at any size.
  3. Need a different design per row? Run several batches with different settings.
  4. Printing labels? Our sticker sheet template lays out a code in a grid ready for label paper.

WiFi and contact codes in bulk

Besides links and text, the bulk generator can build WiFi logins and contact cards (vCards) from spreadsheet columns. Turn on "First row is a header" and name the columns like this:

Each row isColumn names we recognize
WiFi loginssid (or network), password, security (WPA, WEP or none), hidden
Contactfirst, last, phone (or mobile), work, email, company, title, website, street, city, state, zip, country, note

Handy for hotels (one WiFi card per room), offices (guest networks per floor), sales teams (one contact code per person) and events (badges with each speaker's contact details).

Different frame text on every code

Choose a Frame text column and each code gets its own call to action: "TABLE 1", "TABLE 2", "ROOM 214" or a product name. Pick a frame style in the design panel first; the column only changes the text.

Set Download as to PDF label sheets and pick your Avery sheet (L7160, L7163, L7651, 5160 or 5163). Every label gets its own code plus the text from your file-name column, page after page. Print at 100% (actual size) and test on plain paper first: hold the test print against a label sheet to check the alignment.

Spreadsheet tips

  • Export from Excel or Google Sheets with File → Download → CSV.
  • Keep one header row and no merged cells.
  • Phone numbers: include the country code (+44…) and format the column as text so leading zeros survive.
  • Check the "Skipped rows" message: it lists rows with invalid links or missing required fields.

Frequently asked questions

How many QR codes can I generate at once?

Up to 5,000 per batch. We tested 1,000 codes without problems on an average laptop.

Is the bulk generator free?

Yes. No sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how often you use it.

Can each QR code have its own file name?

Yes. Add a second CSV column with the name and select it as the "File name column".

Can I add a logo to all the codes?

Yes. Upload it in the Logo section of the design panel. Error correction switches to H automatically.

Does it work with Excel files?

Yes. Upload the .xlsx file directly; we read the first worksheet in your browser. You can also upload CSV, or copy a column from Excel and paste it.

Are the codes static?

Yes. Each code contains its link or text directly, so none of them will ever expire.
